modifying an erroneous taxon
[edit]In the frame of the Metabiodivex 2022 summer school (https://metabiodivex.sciencesconf.org/) the puzzling occurence of vinblastine in Diospyros lotus was observed. When having at the supporting reference Q39803605 (Antioxidant and antiproliferative activity of Diospyros lotus L. extract and isolated compounds.) After reading the reference it appeared that vinvlastine (and taxol) is indeed mentioned in the article, but as standards used in the bioassays. "Cell survival was measured as the percentage absorbance compared to the untreated control. Vinblastine sulfate salt and taxol were used as positive control. Cytotoxicity of the D. lotus extract and isolated components were expressed in terms of its IC50." We thus removed this specific found in taxon property.
