wikibooks interwiki - Cookbook:Water[edit]
I think water is a too general concept for water in the cook book. For example, there are pages b:Drinking water and b:Cookbook:Water in Wikibooks. Both are more particular concepts than water in common. --Sobloku (talk) 06:08, 25 January 2017 (UTC) this great article about water and its management for drinking water.my websit link https://www.amirhealthcare.com/surbex-z/

is a liquid[edit]
If you speak of "water" you normally mean the liquid form. It's important if you have e.g. an aqueduct transporting water, it's not transporting ice or steam.--Sinuhe20 (talk) 07:40, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
- liquid water (Q29053744). Wostr (talk) 23:35, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Sinuhe20: words (especially in English) are ambiguous. We are trying to be as exact as we can in Wikidata. Each item is not about word but about a concept. Here is about chemical substance H20 which can exist in several forms. And yes, it is still called "water". --Infovarius (talk) 20:43, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Infovarius: Then you should check the properties, most refer to the liquid, not to the general chemical compound.--Sinuhe20 (talk) 07:07, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
- You mean properties like density (P2054)? Everything is correct, all physical properties should be placed in an item about a chemical compound. Wostr (talk) 10:36, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
- That's ok, actually I mean sitelinks like Cookbook:Water or wikinews Kategorie:Wasser or identifiers like the Art & Architecture Thesaurus. Here you can read: A liquid made up of..., so it refers to the liquid form. Or the Encyclopedia of Chicago Article is more about hydrology.--Sinuhe20 (talk) 21:02, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
- Please feel free to move any sitelink or a property you find about liquid. I haven't checked each and every one. --Infovarius (talk) 22:46, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

Splitting this item into two[edit]
I think this item should be splitted. Q283 could remain as a general concept of water, not necessarily in its pure form, but all statements regarding the the pure molecular entity could be moved to a new one. Right now there is a mix of statements regarding the chemical entity and the general concept. Wostr (talk) 09:35, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
- What is "general concept"? Mixture of isotopes? --Infovarius (talk) 19:41, 5 August 2023 (UTC)
