Finding items[edit]
How do I query for "instance of: chemical compound" without a "mass" property? I really tried to modify some of these -- https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:SPARQL_query_service/queries/examples (e.g., "Humans_without_children") -- to work with this goal, but it failed. Proof that item(s) like the aforewritten do/did exist:
Search for <"chemical compound" -mass> doesn't work since text of properties is not seen as text on the page when searching:
- https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?sort=relevance&search=%22chemical+compound%22+-mass&title=Special:Search&profile=advanced&fulltext=1&advancedSearch-current=%7B%7D&ns120=1&ns0=1
- leads to Q27161510 which has a value for the mass property
This works (lead me to this entity), but is probably no all inclusive:
Other query I did:

- Hello @User123o987name:,
- Feel free to ask your question on Wikidata:Request_a_query, it has a more likely chance to be seen an answered than on an individual item talk page. Lea Lacroix (WMDE) (talk) 08:10, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
