Puffery[edit]

I've removed a load of uncited claims about genres and influences. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 16:01, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

These have been restored, cited to the band's own website which is not a reliable source. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 11:59, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Pigsonthewing, yes ideally independent sources should be use. Could/should this last.fm page or this musicbrainz page fit the need? (not sure how independent they are) Cdlt, VIGNERON (talk) 07:31, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@VIGNERON: Wholly not independent. Both are editable by the public and quite likely written by the same person who edits here. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 09:15, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Removed again. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 20:55, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
And again - this time they were cited to the band's own web page, which is not an independent nor reliable source for such claims. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 10:38, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I have again removed several of these, which were this time cited to either self-pubished sources, or unreliable sources such as Blogspot blogs. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 10:16, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Pigsonthewing, according to Wikipedia, AllMusic is considered a reliable source (WikiProject_Albums/Sources). It was used as a reference for the genres ambient, shoegaze, post-rock and dream pop (Vision Eternel on AllMusic). Why did you remove those genres and those sources?
