Spelling[edit]
sylvicola and silvicola are alternative spellings for the same species. sylvicola is preferred by Index Fungorum and Mycobank, but silvicola is also used and seems preferred by Wikimedia projects. Items Q10546817 and Q384480 respectively are for the two names. I propose that Q10546817 should be merged into Q384480 and only the alias fields for each language should be used to record the alternative "sylvicola". There should be no item with taxon name (P225) = "Agaricus sylvicola".
The same problem exists for Agaricus silvaticus/sylvaticus. Strobilomyces (talk) 19:59, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
