Merge[edit]
Just a quick note here: I merged Q20741046 into this item due to the fact that they were essentially the same thing. I guess Q20741046 was originally created separately by accident, and later someone made this item subclass of (P279) of it, even though they should have been merged. –Samoasambia ✎ 14:55, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Samoasambia: I am not sure that NUTS is only for Europe. --Infovarius (talk) 12:23, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Infovarius: Thanks for your comment! It's created by the EU and it includes even EFTA and EU candidate countries, but no more than that [1]. I guess we could have items "first-level NUTS of the European Union", "first-level NUTS of the EFTA" and "first-level NUTS of the EU candidate countries", but I don't think that would make a whole lot of sense. They are anyways all defined centrally by Eurostat, which is an EU body. Samoasambia ✎ 14:31, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
