"Preceded by' statement[edit]
The 'preceded by' statement is misleading as that only applies within the Roman Catholic tradition, however, a saint can be a number of religions, and not necessarily preceded by such a ritual. Removing that. — billinghurst sDrewth 15:03, 6 May 2014 (UTC)

- It is not an universal application and would only be relevant to saints of the roman catholic church, so please remove it. Otherwise the article will need to be split apart. — billinghurst sDrewth 14:21, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
