Current VIAF file and other authority control files allocation is mess
[edit]Following two corporate bodies are totally different entity
- Korea University (WKP Q39997, LC n79105946), a private university established in 1905 by Koreans under Japaneses colonization, as in name of 'Posŏng Chŏnmun Hakkyo (Q55737146)', which is later continued as current name
- Keijō Teikoku Daigaku (WKP Q489356, LC n79100559), an imperial university established in 1924 by Government-General of Korea under Japaneses colonization (Chōsen Sōtokufu, Q106234557), which is later followed by Seoul National University (Q39913, LC n79110427)
Yet due to past mismatch of WKP Q39997 to LCNAF n79100559, VIAF authority files have been abnormally mixed between Korea University and Keijō Teikoku Daigaku.
