P355: subsidiary for military organizations?[edit]

has subsidiary (P355) seems like a close, but not correct relationship to describe military hierarchies. These are "subordinate commands", but to call them subsidiaries implies a business relationship, of which there is none in the military. Subsidiaries can be sold off, acquired, etc. "Subordinate" also seems at odds with "subsidiary". Subsidiaries can be independent operating entities, which is clearly not "subordinate" in terms of decision making. There is also a concept of control that seems missing from current property options. Jeffme (talk) 19:16, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
