source for version numbers
[edit]@Vladis13: it would be great if you could add a reference to the 1.0 version. The software infobox does not use wikidata for version numbers in part because it fails to provide a source. Thanks ! Dachary (talk) 09:15, 16 September 2016 (UTC)
- Perhaps... In ru-wiki the infobox has support for Wikidata. And use of P348 not restricted. --Vladis13 (talk) 12:32, 17 September 2016 (UTC)
- I did not know that, thanks for the information :-) Any idea on how we could encourage editors to include a reference when adding a software version ? It could be the URL of a blog post announcing the release or a link to a tag in the repository. Dachary (talk) 09:24, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
