subclass of → instance of
[edit]If I understand Help:Frequently used properties, I'm replacing subclass of (P279) permissive free software license (Q1437937) with instance of (P31) permissive free software license (Q1437937). --Valerio Bozzolan (talk) 10:19, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
"Apache license" or "Apache software license"?
[edit]Some sites prefer the former and others pro the later, which is preferred by us? --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 06:30, 15 October 2020 (UTC)
- IMO we should model this as a collection of software licenses. It's meaninglessly imprecise to say "It's licensed under the Apache Software License" since they are different licenses and not all 3 are OSI-approved for example (2.0 is not approved, the others are). I changed it to be a license scheme (ie group of similar licenses) because that's what it is according to their website and https://www.techopedia.com/definition/31714/apache-software-license.--So9q (talk) 05:52, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
