Because it would unnecessarily clutter the class hierarchy (they are subclasses of their languages family, but regional languages of France (Q62067599) is just a politically defined group they also happen to belong to, it's not their nature.) -Ash Crow (talk) 13:34, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
