Re: Coins
[edit]according to the recent science paper that got all the attention in the news ( https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0274285 ), it is NOT clear if all the coins associated with sponsian (both those naming him & those not) came from the 1713 find or not. there is also unclarity about the total number of coins, the number of coin issues that should be associated with him, & the present location/status of some of the reported examples.
