You are wrong - these are different items. administrative territorial entity of Malta (Q15631694) is class of any divisions of Malta (e.g. regions and districts too) while local council of Malta (Q719592) is only for local councils. --Infovarius (talk) 13:59, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No, you wrong. Rest of discuss is here. Subtropical-man (talk) 20:54, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Mess[edit]

At present (as of 3 May 2017), all the articles (except one) show 68 local councils of Malta as official administrative divisions of Malta. Only local councils are official administrative unit of Malta, by law and constitution (even in ISO). Few artificial regions have been created, but this is not an administrative division, these uses for statistical purposes. Between all language versions of Wikipedia, there is one temporary exception: ru:Административное деление Мальты. This article is mistakenly written (are subject to Q15631694), for now. I corrected this, but ru.Wikipedia has edit control, I wait for confirmation/acceptance... maybe soon we will be able to remove of Q15631694, for simply (one) page about local councils/official administrative divisions of Malta. @Subtropical-man: Why are so against Q15631694? Are you sure that there were no other administrative divisions in the past and there will be no in the future? --Infovarius (talk) 16:33, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Currently, local council is official administrative unit of Malta, by law and constitution (and even by ISO). Future is not important, "what if", "what if", "what if". Tomorrow may be the end of the world, apocalypse - so? I try to repair the patlogy. Before, articles of Q719592 and articles of Q15631694 are about the same local councils but these are two different (incompatible) names and meaning. Now, the problem is solved. All these articles in all wikipedias (with the exception of your ru.wiki) show official administrative division of Malta - 68 local council, within one file Q719592 in wikidata, as it should be. You are still continuiung to persist in doing a mess... It's very bad when articles with different topics (and very different names, yes!) are in one item, but if this inconsistency makes you happy, I can live with it. But don't delete links about standard concepts: general notion "Podział administracyjny" and specific units of specific levels (local councils here). They can be equal at some time but they are not equivalent. Don't forget about region of Malta (Q7309296)!!! There were some regions which were official from 1993 till 2001. So they should be separated from current "local councils". --Infovarius (talk) 11:03, 11 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
