The point in time statement on this page should be deleted since it is verifiably inaccurate. The American Civil War did not occur over one day, so the inclusion of a point in time statement is wrong and should be removed. I have corrected the formerly incorrect start time statement to properly reflect the start date of the American Civil War (April 12, 1861). The point in time statement should be deleted since the point in time property is not meant to fill the role of the start time statement.

Though the point in time statement has a so-called "deprecated rank", this is still a problem because database reconciliation services like OpenRefine continue to pull this incorrectly placed point in time statement’s data from Wikidata, creating further problems.

There is no value to keeping the point in time statement, and it should be swiftly deleted to prevent this improper statement usage from spreading into other database projects.

It seems that whatever restriction that prevented me from removing this point in time statement has disappeared, so I have removed this point in time statement.
Likewise, I corrected the end time statement, which had incorrectly referred to the end time as May 10, 1865 when the correct end time is May 9, 1865. This has also been fixed.
