Usage

Template to link the Wikipedia article for a data item by its identifier, e.g:

• {{Wikipedia|Q5}} → human

The link label can be changed with the second parameter, e.g:

• {{Wikipedia|Q5|learn about humans}} → learn about humans

Note that the template automatically links the right Wikipedia article for the current page language (via the sitelinks of the data item). If there is no sitelink to a Wikipedia article of the current page language, the English Wikipedia article is linked instead.

This allows the usage of the template within <translate> tags, as follows:

Have you read about {{wikipedia|<tvar name=1>Q5</tvar>|humans}}?
</translate>
