I've stopped contributing here because of the notability policy so do what you want.

I don't understand why we have such a strong stance of notability on Wikidata, it prevents you from doing really interesting data related queries, but ok. For instance, wouldn't it be cool be able to query Wikidata to be able to tell you the opening and closing of all photolabs and graph that out? Well that's impossible given our notability, but I guess I don't really understand what Wikidata is for anymore.

Wouldn't it be more prudent to have a property that indicates notability rather than it's inclusion in the database to begin with (which would imply that it doesn't exist)?

you are welcomed to present your approach at Wikidata:Notability. I have rather heard that WD Notability criteria are too weak compared to other Wikiprojects, like enwiki
