Just because it shouldn't be so difficult to find out how to create subpages (but I found it more of a challenge than expected), this is how you do it:

You can create subpages of your User page and your Talk page. To create a subpage, type the following into the Wikipedia search box and press the ↵ Enter key, replacing "Your_Wikipedia_Name" with your username:

User:Your_Wikipedia_Name/subpage_name

This will bring you to a page with the title User:Your_Wikipedia_Name/subpage_name. Now click the "Create" button next to the Wikipedia search box and the editing window will open.
