Hello, my name is Anya, and I work as a librarian at UK Parliament.
Work
I'm Head of Indexing and Data Management (IDMS) at the House of Commons Library. IDMS manages parliamentary data, adding value and creating context by linking disparate data sets, and adding subject indexing and other descriptive data. We also manage the UK Parliament Thesaurus and models of Parliamentary procedure. We provide an internal search service - a version of which is available publicly at Search Parliamentary Material - as well as public facing services tracking the progress of treaties and statutory instruments through Parliament.
