I hold a doctorate in Computer Science from PUC-Rio, which I obtained in 2010. Currently, I am a research scientist at IBM Research (Brazil Lab) and serve as an adjunct professor at the Applied Mathematics Department of Getulio Vargas Foundation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. My expertise lies in various areas, including logic, proof theory, knowledge representation and reasoning, language resources, computational linguistics, and type theory. Over the years, I have authored more than 100 papers published in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences.
I actively contribute to the academic community by serving on numerous program committees for conferences such as ACL, COLING, and LREC, among others. Additionally, I hold a position as a board member of the Global WordNet Association and led the coordination of CE-PLN between 2017 and 2019. My involvement extends to maintaining language resources and collaborating on the development of applications that utilize these resources for in-depth linguistic processing of human languages.
