This page collects sample code for using Quick statements to start or enrich items of specific classes.

• Note: MediaWiki converts the tabs in the examples to spaces, so be sure to convert that back before deploying Quick statements. For that reason, I am moving this documentation to GitHub

Creating an item for an author

Be sure to check whether an item about that person already exists before creating a new item. To add the statements to an existing item, delete the "CREATE" line and replace all occurrences of "LAST" with that item's Q number. The item for the example now exists under Jun Ying (Q19896805).
