I am Gavin Robinson (Q60664224), independent historian and professional palaeographer. My academic research is on military operations and personnel in the British Civil Wars. My latest project, By The Sword Linked, uses Semantic MediaWiki to create Linked Open Data about the British Civil Wars. This project uses Wikidata as a spine to link to other external identifiers. I have been creating and improving Wikidata items for historians who have published works relevant to the British Civil Wars, and trying to disambiguate them from other authors with the same names.
