The Elhuyar Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation, whose main aim is to create and offer language resources, tools and services to develop the Basque language.

The work of this bot has been planned and carried out together with the Association of Basque Wikipedians.

The bot will upload about 10,000 lexemes (all nouns) with their corresponding forms, 65 for each lexem. Definitions in Basque will be also given, each meaning of the lexem corresponds to a 'Sense'.

Up to now, 3,000 lexemes and their forms have been uploaded, but the full upload will be carried out soon.

All the lexemes and definitions belong to the Elhuyar Ikaslearen Hiztegia (Elhuyar Student Dictionary), published in 2008, ISBN: 978-84-95338-96-9.
