Bio[edit]

My name is Michael Leon Stewart (often stylized M. Leon Stewart or Michael L. Stewart). I began work in GLAM as an archival paraprofessional (undergraduate student) in 2013. I continued paraprofessional work in a variety of paraprofessional positions including public library circulation and consortium-level public library cataloging through the completion of a master's program in library science in the summer of 2019. I am currently the Metadata Librarian at the University of Delaware Library, Museums and Press as well as the Metadata Specialist for the New Jersey/Delaware Digital Collective, a regional hub of the Digital Public Library of America, DPLA. I use they/them pronouns.

Conflict of Interest Statement[edit]

As mentioned above, I am currently employed by the University of Delaware Library, Museums and Press and perform work for the New Jersey/Delaware Digital Collective. When drawing on information from these sources, I avoid biased editing practices to the best of my ability. If I appear to be violating those guidelines in any way, I ask that you contact me via my talk page immediately so that I can address the issue as quickly as possible.
