Welcome to Wikidata, (:Julien:)!

Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Need some help getting started? Here are some pages you can familiarize yourself with:

  • Introduction – An introduction to the project.
  • Wikidata tours – Interactive tutorials to show you how Wikidata works.
  • Community portal – The portal for community members.
  • User options – including the 'Babel' extension, to set your language preferences.
  • Contents – The main help page for editing and using the site.
  • Project chat – Discussions about the project.
  • Tools – A collection of user-developed tools to allow for easier completion of some tasks.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask on Project chat. If you want to try out editing, you can use the sandbox to try. Once again, welcome, and I hope you quickly feel comfortable here, and become an active editor for Wikidata.

STIPEL[edit]

from this link (an encyclopedia), the initials are capitalized.--AP22FROMIT (talk) 07:51, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your changes are consistently reverted on fr: and it: for failure to comply with typographic rules (cf. https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ortografia_della_lingua_italiana#L'uso_del_maiuscolo), so no, the link you provide does not hold. Hence you are blocked on both encyclopedia. (:Julien:) (talk) 07:57, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
no, I'm not blocked, see my global accounts. Italian Wikipedia rules are Italian Wikipedia rules and not Wikidata rules! AP22FROMIT (talk) 07:59, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Typographic rules (Italian and French) are valid everywhere and shall be enforced on wikidata also for labels pertaining to those languages. (:Julien:) (talk) 08:00, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
no my dear, the rules of itwiki and frwiki are internal and do not apply to Wikidata! Please inquire. In addition, I have given you all the necessary references to indicate the correct company name. Good day. AP22FROMIT (talk) 08:04, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
