Request reason:
Hello, I tried log into Wikidata with my Wikipedia account for the first time on (Nov 5, 2023) and was blocked for “Vandalism”. I even tried to create a new account again today and was unsuccessful. I believe this to be done in error as I have no recollection of committing “Vandalism”.
Decline reason:
The block is not set to affect logged-in users. Please paste the message you got below.--Jasper Deng (talk) 03:11, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If your account is blocked, then you should make an unblock appeal from that account. I can't see what account you were trying to log in with.
This IP address is part of a large range that has indeed performed a lot of vandalism and so has been blocked from editing (CC @Multichill). This block should not affect you if you log in to your account, but it will prevent you from creating new accounts. If your main account is blocked, then you should not be creating new accounts, as this is considered block evasion. Bovlb (talk) 16:34, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
