Duplicate items

Hello!

Some of the items you've been creating are duplicates, such as for example Q6632038 which was a duplicate of Q4752829. Before creating a new item, please make sure you're not creating a duplicate by first searching here.

Addendum: You can also enable the SitelinkCheck javascript gadget in your preferences (Gadgets tab). It will appear as a link in the Toolbox and give you the option of checking a site link quickly. Silver hr (talk) 18:03, 10 March 2013 (UTC)

Q6630847

The item you've created, Q6630847, has its label and description both in Arabic, however they are marked as being in English. I have created a label and a description marked as Arabic (language code ar) the contents of which I copied from the English version. Could you provide an English label and description for the English version?

Also, the language in which you'll see labels and descriptions is the language you've chosen to view the site in (the link should be next to your username link on the top of the page). This also means that when you add a label or description, it will be marked as being in that language. You can also enable labelLister, a Javascript gadget (in your preferences) which will enable you to show and edit labels, descriptions and aliases from other languages.

Babel

Babel lets you view and edit more than one language on Wikidata. Just add e.g. {{#babel:de-N|en-3|sk-1|fr-2|cs-3|it-4|da-0}} to your user page. Best, Littledogboy (talk) 18:37, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
