Wiktionary items[edit]

Hi, and welcome! Sorry to welcome you with a message like this, but please don't create items for Wiktionary entries. Interwiki links on Wiktionary are handled by an extension called Cognate, which automatically link pages based on spelling, so there's no need to have interwiki links for ordinary items here in Wikidata. In other words, pages in the main namespace (i.e. ordinary Wiktionary entries) should not have any sitelinks in Wikidata. It is supposed to be disabled, but for technical reasons that hasn't been done yet.

Anyways, have a nice day! Jon Harald Søby (talk) 08:23, 21 June 2017 (UTC) Ok, thank's Asinis632 (talk) 08:25, 21 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You're still creating items for pages in the Wiktionary main space. Please stop doing that. You're creating work for admins as we need to delete them again. Mbch331 (talk) 06:29, 13 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
