Marking properties as ready[edit]

I noticed that you marked a few properties as ready. While, as a property creator, I appreciate people paying attention to this, please note that there are specific criteria for when a property proposal is ready, laid out in Wikidata:Property creation. In particular, property proposals must be open for a week before they're ready for creation. I highly doubt that Wikidata:Property proposal/Bookbinding and the Conservation of Books term ID, for instance, will fail, but it's only been three days since it opened. This period is to ensure that people have time to notice any potential issues. Once the week is up (and the other criteria are met, though those are a bit more subjective), then it's appropriate to mark a proposal as ready.

Thanks for the educative info. Will keep this in mind from now on. Regards - ~Namita (talk) 10:25, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
