Difference?[edit]

What makes not in operation (Q111802839) different from out of service (Q56651571)? Thanks. Swpb (talk) 16:22, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Swpb: hello, it's a term we use on it.wiki (will add the translation later) to define a train station or a line that is active for the infrastructure manager but isn't actively used by trains. This means that the infrastructure isn't properly out of service, it's a subtle difference but that detail makes it relevant. I don't what the best english equivalent term would be tho, I guess I'll try out some research. Claudio Dario (talk) 16:33, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Swpb: also how do I reply in your talk page? I'm used to Wikipedia and there's no "add topic" thing here. Claudio Dario (talk) 07:10, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No need - since I messaged you on your talk page, I watched here for your reply (which satisfied my question, by the way). But if you needed to reach me, you would go to User talk:Swpb and click in "Start a new topic". Cheers! Swpb (talk) 13:54, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Swpb: Yeh I'm asking because there's no such thing for me there, not even an "edit page" tab which is strange. Maybe I'm lacking some perms or Wikidata is just strange I guess :p Claudio Dario (talk) 14:01, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That is strange, I don't know what that's about. You could try asking about it on Wikidata:Project chat or the live chat. Sorry! Swpb (talk) 14:05, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It only happens on your page btw, in other user's talk page it's like it should be. cd450 DLF 14:36, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
