long take / Plansequenz[edit]

They have different pages on it.wiki. Basically, long take is any long shot, while piano sequenza is a full narrative sequence. I think it should be called sequence shot in English --87.14.74.166 16:32, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

advanced stop line (Q106636966) und advanced stop box (Q3134674)[edit]

Hallo Discostu!
Ich habe deine hinzugefügten Alias von advanced stop line (Q106636966) zu advanced stop box (Q3134674) verschoben. Meine Absicht hinter dem ersten Datenobjekt war eine klare Abgrenzung der vorgezogenen Haltelinie zur ARAS. Beide Bauformen sind meiner Beobachtung nach zumindest mal in Deutschland und Luxemburg präsent. Im englischsprachigen Raum (und entsprechend auch auf OpenStreetMap) scheint eine Unterscheidung hingegen leider nicht in dem Maße getroffen zu werden, weshalb die Bezeichnung "advanced stop line" zugegebenermaßen etwas unscharf ist und teilweise für beide Bauarten genutzt wird. --Nw520 (talk) 10:38, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ich weiß nicht, ob diese Differenzierung so sinnvoll ist, wenn wir weder in den Wikipedias noch auf Commons diese so machen. Siehe zum Beispiel en.wiki: "An advanced stop line (ASL), also called advanced stop box or bike box, is a type of road marking at signalised road junctions allowing certain types of vehicle a head start when the traffic signal changes from red to green." Und du gibst ja auch selbst zu, dass die Begriffe unscharf verwendet werden. Ich wäre daher dafür, diese Items zu vereinen. -- Discostu (talk) 10:56, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Persönlich sehe ich keinen Anlass für eine Zusammenführung. Meine Einschränkung mit dem "unscharfen" Begriff habe ich ausschließlich auf die Sicht aus dem englischsprachigen Raum bezogen. In der deutschsprachigen Erläuterung in w:de:Radverkehrsanlage#Führung des Radverkehrs an Knotenpunkten hingegen wird spezifisch nur die ARAS dargestellt. Auch in der Q1339180 wird in Abschnitt 4.4.2 unterschieden zwischen "Vorgezogene Haltlinien" und "Aufgeweitete Radaufstellstreifen", was m.E. ausreichend Relevanz impliziert. --Nw520 (talk) 11:47, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Call for participation in the interview study with Wikidata editors[edit]

Dear Discostu,

I hope you are doing good,

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King’s College London, and I work on a project as part of my PhD research that develops a personalized recommendation system to suggest Wikidata items for the editors based on their interests and preferences. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I would love to talk with you to know about your current ways to choose the items you work on in Wikidata and understand the factors that might influence such a decision. Your cooperation will give us valuable insights into building a recommender system that can help improve your editing experience.

Participation is completely voluntary. You have the option to withdraw at any time. Your data will be processed under the terms of UK data protection law (including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018). The information and data that you provide will remain confidential; it will only be stored on the password-protected computer of the researchers. We will use the results anonymized to provide insights into the practices of the editors in item selection processes for editing and publish the results of the study to a research venue. If you decide to take part, we will ask you to sign a consent form, and you will be given a copy of this consent form to keep.

Call for participation in a task-based online experiment[edit]

Dear Discostu,

I hope you are doing good,

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I work on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender system that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our system based on your previous edits. Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published to a research venue.

The study will start in late January 2022 or early February 2022, and it should take no more than 30 minutes.
