Translations of "casa"[edit]

Please avoid adding all translations of casa (L350) to that lexeme. There is no need for each meaning to have some sort of "lexicographical center"; it is enough for there to be a path of "translation" or "synonym" properties between two lexemes for the connection between them to be known. Consider, for example, how these lexemes for "mother" or these lexemes for "water" are not "centered" on one lexeme, and yet if one wanted to find equivalents across languages for those two words it would still be possible. Mahir256 (talk) 17:34, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

After some reorganization, these lexemes for "house" no longer have a "lexicographical center". Mahir256 (talk) 18:39, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the info, I didn't know. Sorry for the misunderstanding. So it is sufficient that is linked to the lexeme in one language that is linked to the others? EconAmbiente (talk) 18:59, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that's sufficient. Notice how there is some logic to the connections, whether based in genealogical relatedness between lexemes and languages or just somewhat geographical in nature. Mahir256 (talk) 19:07, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Ecoambiente, thanks for your editions but I have converted one of them in 'museum of natural history' Q16735822 because a museum of "Natural History" (now considered/translated as "Natural Sciences") is a scientific museum and not a museum of history as contemplated in the meaning of the discipline 'History' (see for example: Outline of History). There is some confusion between different schools of thought and this is a recurring problem, it is easy to confuse 'Museum of History of Natural History' with 'Museum of Natural History', the first case would be about the history of Natural Sciences and the second case is about the diversity of nature; the first focuses on telling how scientific advances have happened over time and the second in the disciplines Biology and Geology, traditionally considered as Natural History, with a strong component in the research of living organisms, their habitats and their evolution.

No problem, I followed the categorization of en.wiki but I guess also that has issues. EconAmbiente (talk) 09:40, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
