Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Proposals

Can you take another look at your proposals especially concerning the datatype: Wikidata:Property_proposal/Term#Mushroom_Infobox. Please also vote on other properties on the page ;) --Tobias1984 (talk) 15:59, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

It didn't occur to me use an Item datatype because I was thinking of Items as nouns, but it makes sense now. Should I just go ahead and modify my requests? Thanks for the comments. I will vote on other properties once I feel I have a better understanding. Emok (talk) 17:21, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

You can add babel to your page in order to view and edit more than one language e.g. {{#babel:de-N|en-3}} --Tobias1984 (talk) 16:00, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

• mushroom cap shape (P784)
• hymenium attachment (P785)
• stipe character (P786)
• spore print color (P787)
• mushroom ecological type (P788)

• I started the constraint templates on the properties' talk pages. Some items like colors and saprotrophic nutrion exist. I created a couple of new items. There is for example a page for convex. But a convex mushroom cap is a different concept so I created the item and added it to the constraint template.
