QuickStatements

[edit]

Please note that consensus was reached to deprecate and remove the property original language of film or TV show (P364). Matěj Suchánek (talk) 20:26, 6 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wikidata:WikiProject Movies/Properties --MovieFex (talk) 02:49, 7 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. Please stop that.
--- Jura 11:17, 8 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
We have blocked completely QuickStatementsBot because of your batches. Can you stop batch n° 1148 and batch n° 1149 so we can unlock the bot? --ValterVB (talk) 12:09, 8 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Cleanup needed: Can you explain who you plan to fix your edits?
--- Jura 11:02, 14 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Please tell me what items need a fix. I can do it. Freakymovie (talk) 21:15, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
In the meantime, I had fixed all the film ones, but it seems that you are re-doing them. Just revert them.
--- Jura 17:48, 15 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It seems that is guy doesn't understand a gentle advice. He's editing the same waste again. Someone should block him. --MovieFex (talk) 15:49, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Block

[edit]

Given that you keep changing these, I asked you to be blocked.
--- Jura 10:58, 14 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not. Freakymovie (talk) 21:15, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop conversion

[edit]

Before doing an further bot edits, please explain what you plan to do.
--- Jura 21:32, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I write a library app (Android and iOS) and it is not only for books but all kinds of works. I need a clear data structure for this. On Property:P364 I read: Deprecated for written works; use P407 ("language of work or name") instead. Freakymovie (talk) 21:15, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Why are you doing movies again. This is really disruptive.
--- Jura 17:45, 15 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

After several users explained to you that you shouldn't run a bot job to do a conversion, you did so anyway. You made a mess and now other people are forced to clean this up. That's disruptive editing. You have been blocked for an indefinite period of time. That doesn't mean forever, it just means that the block doesn't expire automatically. Multichill (talk) 16:53, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Multichill: I did not create a mess. I fix the mess around original language of film or TV show (P364) and language of work or name (P407). Jura told me to stop when I was converting original language of film or TV show (P364) to language of work or name (P407) but Matěj Suchánek told me that consensus was reached to remove the property original language of film or TV show (P364) (see first paragraph on this page). I can not understand why other users are allowed to do the conversion (see Q4753) and I get blocked for the same type of edits. Freakymovie (talk) 05:08, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
If you had done as you wrote on https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Wikidata:Project_chat&diff=prev&oldid=574789899#language_property we wouldn't be there.
--- Jura 08:14, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I can unblock you if you agree to not any mass changes and/or use any automated tools for editing. Do you agree with this condition of your unblock? Multichill (talk) 21:35, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
