QLever UI issue[edit]

First, thank you for an otherwise excellent query service.

Whenever I use the QLever UI, position my cursor in the middle of the query and press a key it forces the cursor to jump to the last position. This makes it infuriating to try and edit queries. Is there any chance this could be turned off? This happens on both Firefox and Chromium. Infrastruktur (talk) 14:24, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Is this one of the issues already posted on https://github.com/ad-freiburg/qlever-ui/issues ? If not, can you please open a new issue there and describe it more precisely? Given your short description, I can't reproduce it. Hannah Bast (talk) 07:06, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it appears to be the same as reported issue #57 and I was able to reproduce it following those steps. The jumping cursor appears to happen when the editor would normally present a context-sensitive suggestion, where the prefix is not entered into the query window. So if there is no prefix for "wd:" or "wdt:" and I try to write a pattern that uses these prefixes, the cursor will jump down one line every time i press a letter. I just replied to that issue: https://github.com/ad-freiburg/qlever-ui/issues/57 Hannah Bast (talk) 09:21, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
