Deletion of information from Wikidata

[edit]

You deleted a large number of Twitter usernames from Wikidata, e.g. [1], a statement that was referenced. Can you explain why? Unless there is a good reason, these deletions should be undone.

Please note that in Wikidata statements are generally not deleted or overwritten, but appropriate end time (P582) qualifiers and ranks set. If a value is no longer current, please add a new stateement in preferred rank. This is somewhat different from the way Wikipedia handles changes. --- Jura 09:47, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your feedback. All twitter usernames removed where invalid Twitter usernames. Sorry if I did not properly see the end time (P582) qualifier, but for most of them there were not any. Is it preferable to add a end time (P582) qualifier than removing the mention? For a past occupation I understand this is important, but I don't see why it should help for an identifier, especially when username was mistyped. Jeffphp (talk) 14:50, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

town≠township

[edit]

Your edits like 1989696167 are confused town of China (Q735428) with township of China (Q1500350), while they have same type of division level, they are different-enough concepts, please don't do such edits anymore, by any circumstances. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 04:55, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I'm not saying that these coordinates and address information is wrong. This data already is/was given more accurately using P159 statement. As mentioned in edit summary, organizations such as this museum generally aren't fixated to a physical location, as opposed to the building where its headquartered. Item Lutsu 8 (Q98132283) exists for the building, and standalone P625 and P131 statements were already provided more appropriately over there. P9721 and P5775 statement, as also said in property descriptions, are for architectural structures, and as referred in edit summaries, I moved these statements to an item which is for an architectural structure in particular (I didn't just revert this information). 2001:7D0:81DB:1480:3907:776E:5546:1B6C 10:42, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I understand, thanks for the feedback. Jeffphp (talk) 11:14, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Typographie des libellés en français

[edit]

Bonjour,

Jeffphp (talk) 10:38, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
