Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Empty items and deletion gadget

Hi Jesi. Thanks for performing merges of items which are the same! Please make sure that when you empty an item during a merge, you report it to WD:RfD so it can be deleted. You could install this gadget which automatically makes the request for you once you provide a reason. It should be available in your preferences. Thanks! Merging items

Hi, it would be nice if you could merge to the lower-numbered Q ID, in general.

When you are merging items, please use the Merge.js gadget. It helps you nominating, gives the option to always keep the lower number (which is older, so preferable) and makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.

IMHO Edward Sugden (Q13503466) has got a wrong link to A.M. Sugden.--Verpöbelung (talk) 16:14, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
