when adding a new release don't please delete the old one (like you did at Katleen Martens (Q3194179)). You can set the rank of the then old version to normal and add the new version with "preferred rank".--Kopiersperre (talk) 21:54, 15 October 2016 (UTC)

Hi, you just updated the version-number of SQLite (Q319417). In the future please don't override or remove the old version-info but add the new version additionally to the old one, so that we eventually get the full version history. Ciao MichaelSchoenitzer|, There are hundreds of releases/versions/updates/patches of applications and/or libraries like SQLite etc. You want to keep them all that ever existed going back to DOS 1.0 up to DOS 6 with Windows it's even worse and what you think of Unixes, Linux-distributions etc. ? Call for participation in the interview study with Wikidata editors

Dear Klaas van Buiten,

I hope you are doing good,

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King’s College London, and I work on a project as part of my PhD research that develops a personalized recommendation system to suggest Wikidata items for the editors based on their interests and preferences. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I would love to talk with you to know about your current ways to choose the items you work on in Wikidata and understand the factors that might influence such a decision. Your cooperation will give us valuable insights into building a recommender system that can help improve your editing experience.

Participation is completely voluntary. You have the option to withdraw at any time. Your data will be processed under the terms of UK data protection law (including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018). The information and data that you provide will remain confidential; it will only be stored on the password-protected computer of the researchers. We will use the results anonymized to provide insights into the practices of the editors in item selection processes for editing and publish the results of the study to a research venue. If you decide to take part, we will ask you to sign a consent form, and you will be given a copy of this consent form to keep.

Taşanlar (Q2342353)

Hi. I see that Dutch is your native language. The village of Taşanlar in Turkey (Q2342353) has been subject to an article called Taşhanlar in NL:WP. Thanks a lot. The other issue is, the map "received from Dutch WP" is also wrong; better said, it shows another place in Turkey called "Taşhanlar" and not "Taşanlar". Thank you for your work in maintaining Wikidata. I have a small suggestion to improve your future work. If you notice that two items are duplicates, please merge them instead of blanking one of them as you did with the item Q108762885. External sites use Wikidata identifiers, so it is important that we preserve the chain of references. We do this by making one item a redirect for the other. In particular, item ids are intended to be a permanent identifier, so we never reuse them for another concept.
