YouTube[edit]

Hi, you can't use YouTube video in copyright violation, as you do on Q1053379. YouTube videos must be official. (Sei italiano?) -- L'Ospite Inatteso - I love to love you 09:17, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

We sent you an e-mail[edit]

Hello LitigiousOx,

Really sorry for the inconvenience. This is a gentle note to request that you check your email. We sent you a message titled "The Community Insights survey is coming!". If you have questions, email surveys@wikimedia.org.

You can see my explanation here.

Unsourced claim, mistake[edit]

Please do not add unsourced claims like you did in Egyptian hieratic (Q208111), script directionality (P1406). Reading in Unicode, Chapter 11.4 ([1]), showed your claim is wrong so I had to revert it. This is problematic when you add dozens. -DePiep (talk) 15:04, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@DePiep: Hi DePiep, thanks for your message. Good catch! I was applying ISO 15924's assessment of script directionality, but misread the lines for Hieratic and Demotic (I've reverted it too). I'll make sure to add more references in the future. LitigiousOx (talk) 15:24, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Q13221551 Aurebesh[edit]

The geometric shapes which influenced Aurebesh appeared in a 1983 movie, but Aurebesh as an actual alphabet (i.e. symbols associated with sounds used to write language) did not exist until 1993. See the talk page to "Languages in Star Wars" on en.wikipedia. AnonMoos (talk) 07:40, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
