Wikidata property example should not be used on items[edit]

You've been adding this but this is incorrect - see for example exclusion zone (Q356936). If you click on the warning symbol in the area of "Wikidata property example" you should see a warning along the lines of

type constraint
Entities using the Wikidata property example property should be instances of Wikidata property (or of a subclass of it), but exclusion zone currently isn't.

It looks like you are trying to add representative examples of instances of a wikidata class - I don't believe we have a property for that, so you should propose it. See Wikidata:Property proposal ArthurPSmith (talk) 18:44, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

of course, you can always get examples just by clicking "What links here" in the left navigation bar. Or use the Query service for a more precise list... So I'm not sure such a property is needed, but it might be worth at least a discussion. ArthurPSmith (talk) 20:40, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
