Welcome to Wikidata, Mamman AA!

Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Need some help getting started? Here are some pages you can familiarize yourself with:

  • Introduction – An introduction to the project.
  • Wikidata tours – Interactive tutorials to show you how Wikidata works.
  • Community portal – The portal for community members.
  • User options – including the 'Babel' extension, to set your language preferences.
  • Contents – The main help page for editing and using the site.
  • Project chat – Discussions about the project.
  • Tools – A collection of user-developed tools to allow for easier completion of some tasks.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask on Project chat. If you want to try out editing, you can use the sandbox to try. Once again, welcome, and I hope you quickly feel comfortable here, and become an active editor for Wikidata.

Best regards! --VIGNERON (talk) 11:32, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Automated report of empty item: Q116418415[edit]

Hello, an item that you have edited (and you are the only non-bot editor) is considered empty and will be deleted in 72 hours if it doesn't improve. Your automated cleaner, Dexbot (talk) 16:05, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

“instance of human”[edit]

Hello Mamman AA, would you please stop adding instance of (P31)human (Q5) statements to lexemes? Words aren’t humans. --Data Consolidation Officer (talk) 17:42, 14 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
Same comment! I see that you added the statement instance of (P31) = human (Q5) on multiple Lexemes. This is very wrong as a word cannot be a person. I removed them all automatically. There is some other things that need fixing (look at all the changes I made on seyo (L1149922)), I'm here if you have any questions.
Cheers, VIGNERON (talk) 06:47, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi,
Same comment again, please stop, you are wasting you're time and ours.
Cheers, VIGNERON (talk) 17:34, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Block[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely for repeatedly making the same mistake and failure to communicate. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest it by editing this page and adding the following template with a suitable reason: {{unblock|1=<the reason for your unblock request>}}. If you are logged in, and the option has not been disabled, you may also email the blocking administrator (or any administrator from this list) by using this form. See Wikidata:Guide to appealing blocks for more information.

Block can be lifted as soon as the user communicates and undertakes to improve. Bovlb (talk) 20:28, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
After careful review, it appears that this user's talk page was redirected to a misspelt title, so they may not have been receiving any notifications. I am therefore unblocking, but I will be monitoring to see whether their editing improves and they start to communicate. Bovlb (talk) 23:12, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for contributing to Wikidata. I see that you recently created an item Q123718231 that does not clearly indicate its notability. The Wikidata project only accepts items that meet its notability criteria, and your item is therefore likely to be deleted soon. In brief, items must have an associated Wikipedia article, must be needed for statements on another notable item, or must have both identifiers and serious sources. For the last case, a good indication of notability would be multiple articles about the subject in independent publications like newspapers or magazines. You can add such sources as references to specific claims using reference URL (P854), or as top-level claims using described at URL (P973).

Also, this may not apply in this specific case, but you should know that we discourage editors from contributing on topics with which they have a strong personal connection, as this may present a conflict of interest. If you are being paid to edit here, then you are obliged to disclose this. For a longer version, you might find it useful to read the essay "How to create an item on Wikidata so that it won't get deleted".  Bovlb (talk) 01:01, 13 January 2024 (UTC) --Bovlb (talk) 01:01, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm MediaWiki message delivery, and welcome to Wikidata! Based on your username, it looks like you are performing paid editing. That's okay—however, the terms of use require you to disclose this. You can do so on your user page. Thanks!  Bovlb (talk) 01:03, 13 January 2024 (UTC) --Bovlb (talk) 01:03, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bulk deletion[edit]

Because of your items do not establish notability and you have failed to respond to feedback, I have nominated your items for deletion. See Wikidata:Requests_for_deletions#Bulk_deletion_request_Mamman_AA. Bovlb (talk) 17:18, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
