Multichill (talk) 18:11, 13 February 2021 (UTC)

Hi, I did merge several pretty obvious duplicates between your recent Hungarian National Gallery (Q252071) import and existing Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest (Q840886) entries. Seems like there is quite some overlap between them. You may want to check this list. Cheers! --Nono314 (talk) 17:03, 10 February 2021 (UTC)

@Nono314: I wonder if this has to do with en:Hungarian National Gallery#Controversy. Quite a few paintings seem to have migrated causing the duplicates. Multichill (talk) 17:22, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
Both the English and Hungarian wikipedias seem not to have been updated for a while on that subject. But this page seems to agree with you. Most of the modern painting are apparently on (temporary?) display at MNG, until a new building scheduled to open in 2022. --Nono314 (talk) 19:08, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
@Nono314: used https://w.wiki/ym2 to create input for QuickStatements to merge it. Most of them are merged now, or at least the contents is in one item. The actual redirection didn't happen. I'm hoping for one of the bots to clean up after me. Multichill (talk) 18:03, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
See [1] and [2]. Multichill (talk) 18:55, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
Great! Redirects now seem to have happened --Nono314 (talk) 19:08, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
Note labels do not always exactly match (see Woman with a Fan (Q28777943)) that's why I used the combination (creator, inventory) for my query, but yours should have caught most of them. --Nono314 (talk) 19:16, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
@Nono314: just some leftovers remaining to completely finish the import so I did that tonight and merged some more of them. Multichill (talk) 22:22, 11 February 2021 (UTC)

Can you consider looking at https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Project_chat#How_to_prevent_Maria_column_from_being_classified_as_a_process? that I was trying to resolve in edits that you reverted? Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 17:11, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
