Wikidata to Commons transfer

Hi Multichill. I understand there is a bot that you run/control that transfers Wikidata items with Commons compatible image available at URL (P4765) to Commons. Does this only work for paintings (Q3305213)? Also is the code that actually performs this transfer wikidata_uploader.py in your git repository? I've done a trial upload of 50 works from Yale Center for Bristish Art into Wikidata (to find them do a Wikidata search for 'smartify'), but sadly only 5 of them, the paintings, have moved across to Commons. Missed this one, continued on Wikidata:Requests for permissions/Bot/SmartifyBot. Multichill (talk) 20:41, 21 June 2021 (UTC)

problem with references to the monument database

Hi Multichill, also @Jean-Frédéric, Alicia Fagerving (WMSE), André Costa (WMSE): it is about the bot-generated reference URL (P854) with links like

, which gets redirected to

and does not show any data. There are about 40000 objects with multiple properties having the same problem, estimation about ~200000. Findings:

My questions:

  • if the redirect should work, who can make it work?
  • what is the reason that at is missing in https://heritage.toolforge.org/
  • if the redirect is wrong, whom can I ask to fix the references in Wikidata? What is the correct url per heritage monument in at?
  • I'm doing interface changes on Austrian monuments (the BDA id is broken and has to be migrated), did I break ErfgoedBot's expectations?

Multichill, help would be appreciated. You can also redirect me to some more appropriate place / person. Although deeply involved in monuments in Austria, I never understood the back-office stuff and responsibilities. best --Herzi Pinki (talk) 08:29, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

Latest harvest (June 9th) seems to have gone quite wrong, and quite a lot of countries are missing (see commons:Commons:Monuments_database/Statistics). It’s unfortunately not unusual :-/ However it should just all come bacl at the next harvest tonight. Jean-Fred (talk) 10:20, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
Thanks. I hope, that my ID migration in AT did not cause the harvest to go wrong. Anyhow, there is no way around this migration, so the harvest must cope with it. --Herzi Pinki (talk) 11:32, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
It’s unrelated. The connection to the database dropped halfway through the harvest, and all countries after that are missing. No worries :) Jean-Fred (talk) 18:27, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
@Jean-Frédéric: That's fine. But the harvest went wrong again this night, same behavior. --Herzi Pinki (talk) 10:07, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
@Herzi Pinki: looks like it's stable again. Multichill (talk) 20:13, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
