Your removal of BNCF Thesaurus IDs

[edit]

Hello. Could you please tell me the reason you have removed a lot of BNCF Thesaurus ID (P508) statements, such as in Helicobacter pylori infectious disease (Q18975574)? Are their really wrong BNCF Thesaurus IDs, i.e. mismatched concepts? Thanks, --Okkn (talk) 14:50, 5 May 2017 (UTC) They could be mismatched concept or they do not correspond to an italian Wikipedia page. It's all about reciprocal link with Wikipedia--Nesca123 (talk) 08:22, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wikidata is not only for Wikipedia. If the concept of Wikidata item and that of BNCF term are matched, that's enough. A corresponding Italian Wikipedia's article is not required for the Wikidata item to have a BNCF Thesaurus ID (P508) statement. --Okkn (talk) 11:21, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe you're right but I'm checking every item for the exact semantic correspondance and this is not always possible if I can't see an explanation with a Wikipedia page. Anyway I'll better talk about this with my reference among the Wikidata administrators which is Sannita. In case I will redo what I have undone. Thank you--Nesca123 (talk) 09:26, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
