Request reason:
I have not done anything, except trying to clean up Q166530 (Escape Velocity) and Q4234997 (Cosmic Velocity), and am not associated with, nor do I know, Jayden Gottwald. Although the CheckUser system identified me as Jayden Gottwald, this result is false. If you wish for further proof of me not Jayden Gottwald, I am happy to provide it. Thank you for your consideration and, hopefully, the reverse of this Ban
Decline reason:
No consensus to unblock [1]

You are currently unable to edit Wikidata.

You are still able to view pages and data entries, but you are now not able to edit, move, or create them.

Editing from ‪Root4222‬ has been blocked (disabled) by ‪Jasper Deng‬ for the following reason(s): Abusing multiple accounts This block (ID #51372) has been set to expire: infinite.

Even if blocked, you will usually still be able to edit your user talk page and email other editors. To discuss the block, you may contact ‪Jasper Deng‬ or another administrator. For more information, including how to request an unblock, please read the guide to appealing blocks.

I escalated this unblock discussion to WD:AN. Although there was one "no objection to unblocking", there was no consensus to unblock. As this is a checkuser block, it would either need to be unblocked by a checkuser, or would require extraordinary community support. You are free to renew your unblock request if more information becomes available. Bovlb (talk) 18:32, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have all the Information you could want, just ask, but thanks for looking at the request again, hopefully you will reconsider. @Bovlb (I don't know if this is necessary since I am already replying, better to be sure) Root422 (talk) 09:13, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I read the thread on WD:AN, and I have a few things in response:
-There was only one edit before the ban, and that was the request on the Noticeboard, the Userpage edit was made after the ban.
-As for my thought processes for the edits I made: I was looking up Escape Velocity on the english wikipedia, and tried to switch to the german wikipedia, where I noticed that this was not possible (I did not know that Wikidata existed at that point), so I decided to edit what I thought would be wikipedia to add the sitelink, which was the first time I have been on Wikidata. After I tried adding the german Wikipedia page to the Wikidata object, I got an Error message, because the german wikipedia page was already linked to another wikidata object. So when I tried removing it from the other Wikidata object, it told me that this was impossible for users without Administrator status, and linked me to the Noticeboard, where I made the mentioned request (which, at the time of writing, has not been resolved). As for the user page on the Metawiki, I was browsing through some Wikimedia projects, saw that the userpage on the Metawiki would be applied to other projects as well, and decided to put in my Languages.
-I do not know why Mdrustamansari is here, and I don't know how it could mean something.
-@Jasper Deng, I understand your position, I have not given you any evidence that you find conclusive enough to reverse the ban, which is why I am asking you to request any evidence you need.
Thank you for being patient with me and reading what I have to say. Root4222 (talk) 11:14, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am only an administrator here, not a checkuser. As this is a checkuser block, I have no power to intervene directly; I can only facilitate discussion. Your explanation sounds plausible to me, but I do not have access to the checkuser information. Personal information that might be used to identify editors is closely held, and is only available to a select group of administrators with special training.
Regarding Mdrustamansari, it is sometimes the case that "sock puppeteers", those who operate multiple accounts for nefarious purposes, will give themselves away by accidentally posting from the wrong account. On the other hand, sometimes new users think they are blocked when they are not, and they also often post questions in the wrong place. That was what I meant by "might mean something, or could just be unrelated incompetence."
I note that your global edit history right now is pretty thin. My best advice you right now would be build up an edit history on a different project (e.g. English or German Wikipedia) and then use that to demonstrate that you are a valuable contributor, and then request a reevaluation of the block here. Ban

[edit]

Im sorry Mr. Deng for perhaps seeming suspicous for some reason, but i'm just a guy from germany, so could you please explain the procedure you used in order to "Confirm" me to be an alternate account of a guy I haven't even heard of? I am not linked in any way to this person, so I would please request an Unban.

Thank you very much in advance. Root4222 (talk) 07:45, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I used CheckUser which confirms beyond any doubt that you are the same person as User:Jayden Gottwald.--Jasper Deng (talk) 19:25, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Is there any evidence I can provide to you in order to proof i am not Jayden Gottwald? Root4222 (talk) 12:02, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please enlighten me as well, why would they post this on my Talk page? Nothing about this makes sense. Root422 (talk) 06:13, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
