Meerdere afbeeldingen
[edit]Hoi Sam.Donvil, ik zie dat je op verschillende items meerdere afbeeldingen hebt toegevoegd. Net zoals bij Wikipedia is het de bedoeling dat je er eentje uitkiest en die op het item zet. Multichill (talk) 19:10, 21 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Multichill, Beireke1, Alina data:Dag Maarten, Bedankt voor je bericht. Ja dat klopt. Ik twijfelde inderdaad al of dit gangbaar was. Zijn er wat dit betreft formele richtlijnen? En is het dus belangrijk om één referentiebeeld uit te kiezen? Is het zo dat er maar één referentiebeeld aan een wikidata item gekoppeld mag worden maar dat het wikidata item wel aan alle reproducties op commons mag gekoppeld worden?Wat gebeurd er als we moeten kiezen tussen een beeld dat door een niet-professioneel is getrokken dat van een zeer hoge resolutie is maar waarvan de kleuren vervormd zijn en een lager resolutiebeeld gedoneerd door de instelling waarvan de kleuren wel correct zijn? - Het is net zoals de afbeelding rechtsboven op Wikipedia en vrij gemakkelijk: Kies de beste uit. Bron is niet relevant. Wat de beste is laat ik aan het gezond verstand over. Bij twijfel niet inhalen: Dus als je niet weet of de bestaande afbeelding of een andere beter is dan laat je de bestaande staan. Multichill (talk) 17:58, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
- Ok, daar kan ik me in vinden. Er waren echter ook enkele 3D-objecten zoals bv. dit standbeeld). Heeft het hier zin om meerdere beelden te koppelen of wordt er daar ook gewoon best het meest representatief beeld gekozen? Zijn er voorbeelden? Is het geen propere oplossing om alle foto's van een kunstwerk te groeperen in een Commonscategorie (die ook gelinkt is aan Wikidata) en vervolgens onder de property afbeelding (P18) slechts één afbeelding te kiezen? bv. Merging items

When you (want to) merge items, you may want to use the merge.js gadget from help page about merging. It helps with merging and removes the need to file a request on Wikidata:Requests for deletions.

Jakob Smits werken
[edit]Hoi Sam, ik zie net dat je de werken hier ook hebt toegevoegd! Aantal puntjes ter verbetering:
- oil painting (Q56676227) gebruiken we eigenlijk nooit, We mixen eigenlijk alleen het medium en werk bij een aquarel omdat aquarel zo'n rare historie heeft of het nu een schilderij of een tekening is
- country (P17) gebruiken we niet op schilderijen, dat moet nog wel opgeruimd worden. Je kan beter country of origin (P495) gebruiken en location of creation (P1071) als je weet waar het gemaakt is
- Bij paneel/canvas/etc. is het goed om als qualifier applies to part (P518) -> painting support (Q861259) op te nemen
- De start time zetten we meestal bij collection (P195), niet bij inventory number (P217)
- Het is wel jammer dat er geen referenties zijn, maar ik kan me voorstellen dat dat in dit geval wat lastig is.
Dit zijn alle wijzigingen die ik gedaan heb. Op Wikidata:WikiProject Visual arts/Item structure is een berg info te vinden. Wellicht dat je dit met toekomstige imports mee kan nemen. Multichill (talk) 10:18, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
Hoi Maarten, Bedankt om de wijzigingen door te voeren. Bedankt voor de tips ik zal het meenemen voor de toekomst. Referenties zijn inderdaad niet mogelijk. Er is voor het Jakob Smitsmuseum enkel een eenvoudige website zonder pagina's voor de individuele werken.Sam.Donvil (talk) 11:12, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
