Incorrect use of instance of (P31)[edit]

Hello –

This edit to "Sebilj" (Q1062192) was in error. Because subclass of (P279) is transitive (for example, see this tree of parent classes), such errors lead to numerous false inferences, such as Sebilj (Q1062192)instance of (P31)intentional human activity (Q451967) Before you use the properties instance of (P31) and subclass of (P279), please be familiar with Help:Basic membership properties, and look at the value item in your statement to be sure it's the one you intend. (In particular, note that all instances of a class must be of the same type.) There is often another property better suited to expressing the relationship you had in mind; you can search for one here. Thanks! Swpb (talk) 18:07, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Swpb! I will check your suggestions later - I m still catching up with all the combinations, but with doing lots of edits lately it could happen that some errors were simple oversight, Anyhow, thanks, I appreciate it . Santasa99 (talk) 18:20, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Many aspects in one item[edit]

Thank you for adding intangible heritage information to Wikidata!

Looking at the item Commission to Preserve National Monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Q27958099) I think too many aspects have been conflated in the item.

I think at least the heritage register(s) should be detached from the organization that manages them. It can be clearly seen in the Wiki Loves Living Heritage/Inventories page, as the page should only represent inventories and link to the organizations managing them. The item is listed on the top of the page because of the high number of record mentioned in the Wikidata item. The high number is ok, but there are several different numbers of items on the page, which would better be separated to different Wikidata items. Please check out m:Wiki_Loves_Living_Heritage/How_to_import_an_inventory. On the other hand, you have many good statements that I could list in the How-to article. Thanks for looking into this. – Susanna Ånäs (Susannaanas) (talk) 14:43, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Sussana, I am still not sure what is this about :-) but I will find a way to undeerstand an fix whatever errors may creeped into my contribution. At this very moment I am asking community for help on another issue that bothers me - Commission ID number can't be included on more than one Item without the little, how I call it, "lightning bolt" icon, so I will check link you provided and see what is that all about. Thanks and see you around. :-) Santa. Santasa99 (talk) 14:55, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Susannaanas At first glance it seems that you are saying that Commission is designated as both inventory/register and organisation that manages property, is that what you are saying ? Santasa99 (talk) 15:06, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, exactly! – Susanna Ånäs (Susannaanas) (talk) 08:54, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Susannaanas, there is only one that I am able to identify as "management" and that's subclass of = cultural heritage management. Although I am a bit reluctant to make definite conclusion because this duality of KONS could be found in them doing some kind of managing of property, especially when it comes to movable property, though they don't keep it in their possession or handle items, thay are, if nothing, often engaged as experts or pick other people for their expertise and so on. Never mind, I would appreciate if you could confirm that removal of this (or some other) statement(s) would make things better? Santasa99 (talk) 16:15, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
