Basic membership properties[edit]

Hi! You changed plantain seed oil (Q55830259) back to be "instance of" seed oil. Correct relations however is "subclass of" seed oil because Q55830259 is a class of seed oils, not an instance of this class (i.e. a particular bottle of oil or or a particular drop of oil or alike). See Help:Basic membership properties. Open Data Portal in Nordrhein-Westalen[edit]

Can we communicate in German or English?

Ich habe gesehen, das Du Artikel für OpenData Portale in Wikidata angelegt hast. Dazu habe ich einige Bemerkunken und Fragen.

Kurz zu mir. Ich bin Harald Schwarz und sehr aktiv beim Projekt OpenStreetMap. Dort bekannt als black_bike bzw. BlackBike.

Da ich mich dort im Moment um Grenzen von Stadtbezirken und Stadtteilen kümmere, bin ich auf die OpenData-Portale der Städte und Gemeinden als Quelle gekommen. Ich hab für Nordrhein-Westalen angefangen zu ermitteln, welche Kreise, Städte und Gemeinden über ein OpenData-Portal verfügen. Grobes Vorgehen: Auf der städischen Webseite die Suche nach OpenData oder Offene Daten gestartet. Die Ergebnisse habe ich in die OpenStreetMap-Daten eingepflegt. Ich nutze hier das neue Tag opendata_portal= . Ich habe dazu auch Abfragen mit overpass-turbo gebaut, die das auf Karten zeigen. Zu finden ist das auf meinen Wiki-Seiten beim OSM-Projekt. Nun zu den Bemerkungen und Fragen zu deinen OpenData-Portal Einträgen bei Wikidata: Ich denke, das sollte noch besser vernetzt werden.

In dem Artikel zum OpenData-Portal sollte es einen Eintrag geben, der auf den Betreiber des OpenData-Portals weist, z.B. auf die Stadt, den Kreis, die Gemeinde, das Verkehrsunternehmen.

Und bei Kreisen, Städten, und Gemeinden soltte es einen Eintrag geben, der auf das OpenData-Portal verweist.

Da ich mich erst seit kurzem mit Wikidata beschäftige, stellen sich einige Fragen.

  • Wie kann ich alle OpenData-Portale in Wikidata abfragen?

Du öffnest https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Special:NewItem und füllst nach bestem Wissen Bezeichnung: und Beschreibung: auf Deutsch aus.
Mit +Aussage hinzufügen erstellst Du ein neues Datenobjekt und fügst, je nach Deiner Kenntnis ist ein(e),

offizielle Website, Staat, Betreiber, etc. hinzu.

  • Wie kann ich einen Verweis von einem OpenData-Portal-Artikel zu dem Betreiber (z.B Stadt erstellen)
Anhand dieses Beispiels der Stadt Moers habe ich einen Betreiber eingetragen https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q63428925
  • Wie kann ich auf einem Stadt-Artikel bei WikiData auf ein OpenData-Portal verweisen?
Auf https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q3132, dem Stadt-Artikel von Moers hat jmd. externe Daten als Aussage eingetragen und darin den Verweis auf das Open Data Portal der Stadt Moers. Das ist eine Methode. Auf externe Daten verlinken schon andere Städte, was Dir ein Anhaltspunkt sein kann. https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Special:WhatLinksHere/Property:P1325&limit=500
  • Sollte dieser Verweis auf einen OpenData-Artikel oder direkt auf das Open-Data-Portal der Stadt verweisen? Geht auch beides?
Wikidata ist noch flexibler als OSM. Alles geht. Nirgends sind Methoden fest geschrieben, wie einzelne Datensätze aususehen haben. Wikidata konnte zu Beginn des Projekts gar nichts so genau beschreiben. Mit der Anahl an Betriebsjahren werden immer feinere Beschreibungen möglich, die auf der Vorarbeit der Vorgänger fußen. Nicht anders als in OSM, wo ich in Hamburg nördlich der Elbe anfänglich nur zwei blaue Lnien für 2 Autobahnen sah und sich niemand an vorhandenen topologischen Merkmalen entlang hangeln konnte.

English version: I saw that you edited articles about opendata portals in wikidata.

In short something about me: My name is Harald Schwarz and I'm very active in the project OpenStreetMap. I'm known there as black_bike or BlackBike.

Im editing there the boundaries of city-parts and use the opendata portals of communities as as source. For Northrhine-Westfalia I searched which counties or cities have an opendata portal. I searched on their websites for "opendata" or "offene Daten". I put this information in OpenStreetMap with the tag opendata_portal= . I used overpass-turbo to build som maps. You can find information about this on my wiki pages on opnstreetmap at: [[2]]

Now to my remarks and question on your articles about opendata portals. I think your article shoul bed be more woven into a network.

In every article about an opendata portal there should be a link to the owner or suplier of that portal (here county or city). In the article of the county or city there should be link to the article of the open data portal.

I'm relativly new to wikidata and have some questions:

  • How can I find all opendata portals in wikidata?
  • How can I put information about opendata portals I knew about in wikidata?
  • How to link information about the owner or suplier of an opendata portal to an wikdata article?
  • How do I put an link in an article of a county or city that links to the open data portal?
  • Should this linkg go to the opendata portal-article in wikidata or to the portal directly? Is both possible?

Strange claims[edit]

Hi,

The addition of the claim bar (Q187456)subclass of (P279)hyperlocal manufacturing (Q63922515) seems strange to me. In a bar, the beverage can - and often do - come from very far away. Am I missing something?

Dear VIGNERON. You might be right. As the term "hyperlocal" is still in its infancy, I tried to decorate it with some real world samples. With bar (Q187456)subclass of (P279)hyperlocal manufacturing (Q63922515) you are right with almost all beverages are being served. If you see bar (Q187456)subclass of (P279)hyperlocal manufacturing (Q63922515) in contrast to the sad leftovers of "social media" as a social hub, it would be a local "production environment" of social relations in contrast to outsourced, ouplaced and outtaxed functions. I am Kholoud, a researcher at King’s College London, and I work on a project as part of my PhD research that develops a personalized recommendation system to suggest Wikidata items for the editors based on their interests and preferences. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I would love to talk with you to know about your current ways to choose the items you work on in Wikidata and understand the factors that might influence such a decision. Your cooperation will give us valuable insights into building a recommender system that can help improve your editing experience.

Participation is completely voluntary. You have the option to withdraw at any time. Your data will be processed under the terms of UK data protection law (including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018). The information and data that you provide will remain confidential; it will only be stored on the password-protected computer of the researchers. Hallo @Amygdalopath, erscheint mir auch sehr unklar. Ich kann allerdings die Verlinkungen nicht mehr nachvollziehen. "Krummer Bach", so etwas gibt es in OpenStreetMap schön öfter mal, daher vermute ich, dass die Bearbeitenden in wikidata dort schnell durcheinander kommen. Ich werde jetzt einen eindeutig zuzuordnenden "Krummen Bach" anlegen um wenigstens für diesen Fall Klarheit u schaffen. Islands in Russia[edit]

Hi Scoid,

do you use a script for your recent geographical objects in Russia? Veshnyak Island (Q125422489) or Lovetskie Island (Q125427580) are wrong in German, lacking Durchkopplung (Q1267038) and a proper translit.
