Merging items[edit]
Hallo Smb1001,
For merging items, you may want to use the merge.js gadget from help page about merging. It has an option "Request deletion for extra items on RfD" to automatically place a request to delete the empytied page. This way of nominating makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.
With regards, - - (Cycn/talk) 12:20, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
- Please keep the lower numbered item if it is a lot lower. Only if the higher number has links to it you should keep that one. - - (Cycn/talk) 13:16, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the merge help. I had intended to merge to the lower ID, and only now notice that I should merge from the page you want to lose not the page you want to keep. Will ensure I get it right from here. Feel free to undo any changes I just made. Smb1001 (talk) 13:21, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
- There is a checkbox that lets you keep the lower numbered item. - - (Cycn/talk) 13:23, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi Smb1001, you've add for "radio station" the description: "source transmitting at distance using radio waves". This is one possible definition, but imho not what this item stands for. It's more like "organisation that produces and transmits radio programs", but I'm not a native English speaker. (See: List of terminology.) Would be great if you can help. Cheers --Kolja21 (talk) 22:33, 7 February 2014 (UTC)

language[edit]
Hello Smb1001, I saw that you modify some items concerning language at the beginning of this year. With the property instance of (P31), you used language (Q315) instead of language (Q34770). So if you contribute again on language items, please remember to use language (Q34770) and not language (Q315). Thank you :D Pamputt (talk) 22:07, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
ICAO code and Q835576[edit]
Smbbot keep adding an ICAO code to Otto-Lilienthal barracks (Q835576). This is wrong, since this item refers to the barracks surrounding the airfield, which is Roth Air Base (Q15110797) and already has the correct ICAO code. --Srittau (talk) 19:59, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you for looking at it and also thank you for all your hard work, your bot is doing great work! --Srittau (talk) 16:42, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
sport=rowing[edit]
Hello Smb1001, I just saw your (bot’s) recent edits on The Boat Race items (e.g. [1]). I don’t think we need sport (P641)rowing (Q159354) statements here, since all items already have instance of (P31)The Boat Race (Q887604), which itself subclasses rowing regatta (Q21224061). If we just add sport (P641)rowing (Q159354) to anything that is somehow related to this sport, these statements are not useful for anything any longer.
