Rating of video games[edit]

Hi Wikidre, could you explain why you removed some statements about rating in video games items, for example here? Pamputt (talk) 07:45, 28 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The reason is because I wanted to add more age ratings and it could not can be done, well, I will not do it again, but I think the blockade is unfair on my opinion. It was not my intention to do vandalism. Wikidre (talk) 06:40, 28 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ola Wikidre. I have unblocked you. I decided to block you (for a short time) because I wanted to be sure you reply to my message before continuing doing such removal. I you want to add more age ratings, I think it is possible (I am not an expert of that), just explain precisely what you want to add and we should probably able to help you :) Pamputt (talk) 17:43, 28 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
¡Ola! Thank you for answering me :-D, it happened that I could not add the ESRB ratings (eg Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker) and then I thought to delete the data from ESRB, USK, PEGI and CERO (which anyways, were erroneous) in Wikidata it would be the solution, that's why I eliminated that from Wikidata (only referring to classifications by age), sorry for the inconvenience caused. Wikidre (talk) 17:49, 28 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I will try to explain the situation. So, yesterday the user Wikidre removed some statements about rating in video games items without explaining the reasons. Later, I realized that the reason, as I understood, is to add the rating properties in the Spanish language section (see here), and not here on Wikidata. Ok, but the question are, why You need to remove all the statements here on Wikidata, if You can add or remove the ratings on your language section without remove anything? Because, the Spanish Wikipedia isn't the only one that uses the Wikidata properties for template {{Ficha de videojuego}} / {{Infobox video game}}, and it causes some inconveniences for other users on this template ... (see here examples, 1, 2, 3 4, 5, 6, 7) That's the reason why other users instantly realized, that it was vandalism from on your part. Ok, now my advice is to learn how to edit here on Wikidata and well to acquaint with the template {{Ficha de videojuego}}, in your language and be more careful next time, since this is not the first time in my practice with Spanish colleagues, see the same problem here, when the other Spanish user who removed all properties as he wanted ... Hi! Thanks for clarifying and answering:
1- In some articles such as Splatoon 2 or Captain Toad in the Spanish Wikipedia you could not add the ESRB age ratings.
2- I promise that I will be more careful with respect to the WikiData
3- I do not do vandalism, and sorry, but it was never my intention to do vandalism. On the contrary, I am against vandal acts.
4- Thanks for the advice, I will familiarize myself with the template in my language and I will be more careful.
